On the 5. of april 2006, Denmarks Radio and AVIT-Systems signed a contract on system integration at DR. This tender was the last of 40 relating to Denmarks Radio moving to Ørestaden.

Segment 4 at DR is a complex on 26.000 m2, opening for the public in 2008. This complex includes 4 concerthalls and a number of studios. The flagship of the complex will be the large concerthall with room for 1.800 seated guests. The concethall is expected to be the best in northern Europe.

The project consists of a design documents, requirement specifications, test specifications and risk analysis for central studios, control rooms, decentralised equipment rooms and the concert halls. The solution consists of system integration of audio and video infrastructure, and building high-tech recording studios for the use of DR's musical productions.

The chosen infrastructure solution makes it possible to send live - both TV and radio - direct from the production facilities.

This task includes installation and integration of numerous third party systems, and consultancy services.
